Your privacy in Biscus VR
Last updated: 21 October 2026
Biscus VR is a multiplayer game for Meta Quest made by Biscus Studios. This page explains, in plain language, exactly what information the game collects, why, who helps us run the game, and how anyone, anywhere, can have their data deleted.
At a glance
- What we collect: your Meta user ID, Horizon display name, age group and purchases; the in-game name, coins, items, progress and stats saved to your game account; reports you send or receive; and your voice, live only, while voice chat is on.
- Why: to sign you in, save your progress, run multiplayer and voice chat, deliver purchases, and keep the game safe and fair.
- What we never do: sell your data, use it for advertising, or record your voice.
- Delete your data any time, from anywhere: use Settings ▸ DELETE MY DATA in the game, or email [email protected].
App details
- Created by: Biscus Studios
- Platforms: Meta Quest 3S, Quest 3, Quest Pro and Quest 2
- Multiplayer; an internet connection is needed to play online.
1. What information do we collect?
From your Meta account (through the Meta Horizon platform, with the permissions Meta has approved):
- User ID: your Meta user ID, an app-scoped ID and a one-time sign-in proof, used to sign you in and confirm you own the game.
- User profile: your Horizon display name. We don't use your profile photo.
- Age group: whether your account is a child, teen or adult account. We only use it during your session to apply Meta's rules for different ages. We don't store it.
- Purchases: confirmation of the coin packs and bundles you buy through Meta's checkout. Meta handles the payment, so we never see your card or billing details.
From your headset while you play:
- Microphone: used only for live voice chat with the players in your room. Your Quest asks permission first. Voice is never recorded or stored.
- Head and hand movement: shared live with the players in your room so they can see your avatar move. It isn't stored.
Saved to your Biscus VR game account (stored with PlayFab):
- Your PlayFab player ID, the in-game name you choose, and your equipped cosmetics and colour.
- Your coins and rubies, the items, cosmetics and abilities you own, and your purchase history in the game.
- Your progress and stats: rank points, wins, games played, daily-quest rewards, prize-wheel spins and your friends list.
- Basic event logs that PlayFab records automatically, for example when you log in and when you buy or spend in-game currency.
Safety records:
- Player reports: if you report someone, or someone reports you, we keep the in-game names involved, the reason picked and the time. Reports are posted to a private moderation channel on the Biscus Studios Discord so our staff can review them.
- Bans: a ban, its reason and how long it lasts.
Handled by our service providers to connect you: your IP address and basic device and connection information. PlayFab and Photon process this to connect you to the game and its rooms. We don't collect or store it ourselves.
We don't ask for your real name, email address, phone number, contacts, precise location or payment details.
2. How do we use your information?
- To sign you in and check that you own the game.
- To save your coins, items, cosmetics, progress and stats.
- To match you into rooms and run multiplayer and voice chat.
- To deliver what you buy in the in-game shop.
- To follow Meta's rules for players of different ages.
- To keep Biscus VR safe and fair: reviewing reports, stopping cheating and enforcing bans.
We don't use your information for advertising, we don't build marketing profiles, and we don't sell it.
3. Who is your information shared with?
Only the services that run the game:
- PlayFab (Microsoft Corporation): game accounts, currency, items, stats and event logs. Servers in the United States.
- Photon (Exit Games GmbH): multiplayer rooms and live voice chat. Servers in the United States; Exit Games is based in Germany.
- Meta Platforms: sign-in, age group and purchases, under Meta's own privacy policy.
- LIV (LIV Inc.): the in-game camera you can pull out from your wrist watch (the LIV Creator Kit). Videos and photos you take are saved on your headset, in its Movies folder, not sent to us. LIV's kit sends LIV anonymous usage data about the camera (for example, that it was used and which features), under LIV's privacy policy (liv.tv). It starts only the first time you pull the camera out. If you choose to stream from it, that goes to the service you pick, under that service's terms.
- Discord: player reports are posted to a private staff channel in the Biscus Studios Discord server.
Other players in your room can see your in-game name and avatar, and hear you while voice chat is on. If you play ranked, your in-game name, rank points and tier can appear on the Top Ranked board in the game and on biscusvr.com. We may share information if the law requires it. We don't share it with anyone else.
4. How long do we keep it?
- Your game account is kept for as long as you play, until you delete it.
- Voice chat and movement are live only and never stored.
- Your age group is never stored on our servers.
- Reports and ban records are kept while they're needed for safety, and at most 12 months.
5. How to delete your data, or see what we have
Everyone can do this, wherever they live, at no cost.
In the game (instant): open the menu ▸ Settings ▸ DELETE MY DATA, then tap it 5 times to confirm.
- It permanently deletes your Biscus VR game account and everything linked to it: in-game name, coins, rubies, items, cosmetics, abilities, progress, stats, friends list, and reports and bans on your account.
- It also clears the game's saved settings on your headset, then the game closes.
By email: write to [email protected] with your in-game name and say whether you want a copy of your data or want it deleted.
- We reply and complete deletion within 30 days.
- Parents and guardians can ask on behalf of their child.
Not covered: deleting your game data doesn't delete your Meta account or your Meta purchase records. Those are managed by Meta. Copies of reports already posted to our private moderation channel are deleted within the 12-month limit above.
You can also turn off microphone access for Biscus VR at any time in your Quest's privacy settings.
6. Children and age groups
Biscus VR is for players of different ages. We use the age group Meta provides to follow Meta's rules for mixed-age apps. We don't knowingly collect more from children than what's on this page. Parents can ask us to delete their child's data at [email protected].
7. Keeping it safe
Sign-in uses Meta's user proof together with PlayFab's sign-in. Game data is stored with PlayFab, not on personal devices. Only the Biscus Studios team can use the game's admin tools.
8. Changes
If we change how Biscus VR uses information, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
